Westside Health Care Center

This healthcare center is a vision of the Mabgwe’s (members of Park) who grew up in Zimbabwe and are familiar with the lack of medical care available to the people in this area for Africa. The nearest clinic is more than 30 miles away. The clinic we are building is more like a small hospital.  It will provide medical care and health education for over 200,000 people in this area of Africa.  The cost to build this clinic is estimated at $200,000 which Park Church and the Mabgwe’s are working on raising.

This is the Mabgwe’s way of giving back to their community.  They are thankful for God’s abundant blessings in their life and the way God has lead them each step of the way from their immigration to America to their ability to obtain their nursing degrees and employment here in Ohio. The Mabgwe’s have used their retirement fund to buy the land and their monthly salary to purchase building materials, medical supplies and equipment that is needed.

If you would like to be a part of this amazing work, you can pray for this work or offer funds through the Park United Methodist Church, memo: Westside Clinic Ministry.
